District Police Kathua under the overall supervision of SSP Kathua Sh. Shivdeep Singh Jamwal JKPS has started a special drive to arrest long pending absconders.
In the first instance, on 8th of June Police Station Rajbagh has arrested an absconder named Ghulam Nabi Rathar S/0 Abdul Rathar R/o Sari Ramban District Ramban. The Accused was absconding more than 12 years and was evading arrest.Against whom a warrant under Section 512 CrPC has been issued by the court of law in case FIR No. 65/2010 U/S 188/IPC, 3-PCA act of PS Rajbagh. The authorities have been searching for the defendant since the issuance of the warrant.
On 8th of June a police team led by Insp. Tariq Ahmed SHO PS Rajbagh under the guidance of SDPO Border Sh. Dheeraj Singh Katoch JKPS located and arrested absconder namely Ghulam Nabi S/o Sari Ramban District Ramban and today said person produced in the Honble court JMIC Hiranagar.
While in the second instance on 08/06/2023 Police Station Basohli has arrested an absconder named Bittu Singh, Son of Bali Ram and resident of Nagali Tehsil Basohli and District Kathua. The Accused was absconding from 05 Years and was evading arrest.Against whom a warrant under Section 512 CrPC has been issued by the court of law in case FIR No. 30/2017 U/S 376/506/IPC of PS Basohli. The authorities have been searching for the defendant since the issuance of the warrant.
On 08/06/2023 police team led by Insp. Jaswinder Singh SHO PS Basohli under the guidance of SDPO Billawar Sh. Arvind Kumar JKPS located and arrested absconder namely Bittu Singh S/o Bali Ram R/o Nagali Tehsil Basohli and will be produced in the court of law.
